Harold Cadman is the loyal chauffeur of Lucia. Married Foljambe, peerless parlourmaid of Georgie Pillson. Sometimes - confusingly - Chapman. It was Chapman, for example, who assisted Lucia in covertly practising her bicycling skills and drove her to Sheffield Castle in Trouble for Lucia. [1]

- An ambiguity has been added to George's behavior in the BBC adaptation. Whilst Georgie is distraught at the thought of loosing Foljambe, in the BBC adaptation he also seems to have feelings for Cadman.
